Uganda is one of the most beautiful countries in Africa with fantastic natural landscape, half the world's remaining mountain gorilla population and some of the friendliest people you could hope to meet. It also offers white water rafting in world-class source of the Nile and some of the more peaceful parks of the region where viewing wildlife does not involve long waits in line behind a dozen or more vehicles.
1. Gorilla Trekking: this is one of the main reasons that travelers coming to Uganda. It is possible to hike to the mountain gorillas, Bwindi Impenetrable and bordered by Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in the southwest at a cost of $ US500 per license.
2: chimpanzee tracking control Primate is a very popular activity in Uganda and there are several places where you can view chimpanzees. Most popular are Budongo forest reserve (part of Murchison falls national park) and Kibale Forest national park. The chance to see chimpanzees in both of these parks is very high-as good as 85%. Kyambura gorge, part of Queen Elizabeth national park is also a truly wonderful environment in which control chimpanzees, although sightings here are not so certain as Budongo and Kibale, but the walk is charming. Semliki National Park also has a chimpanzee habituation project. 3. White Water Rafting: just in Uganda you can raft the mighty source of the Nile River, the water here is very large, with four grade five rapids waiting for beginners. Hit the water for a really wild ride! You don't have to be super-fit or have reached before, but this activity is not recommended for anyone who is not a reasonable swimmer, just in case you turn.
4. birdwatching: Uganda is twitcher's fantasy with over 1000 species in contrasting ground compact and climate diversity. Legends of birdwatching as Stork fungus beetles are found in the West while the country's unique geographic position allows the visitor to view Albertine rift endemics and Semliki National Park of North East Kidepo Valley. Amateurs even will be delighted with the beauty diversity among bird life of Uganda.
5. Bungee Jumping: if the idea of launching from a great height with only one cable elasticized save you from sudden death is your idea of a good time, then look no further. This activity is done at the source of the Nile in Jinja.
6 guided walks: guided walks are offered in many national forest parks and a number of minor forest reserves throughout Uganda. The most popular are the chimpanzee viewing tours, however, there is also a variety of other forests walks available in the Bwindi Impenetrable, Kibale Forest and bordered by Mgahinga Gorilla national parks, offering an opportunity to see some of the many birds and monkeys of Uganda. Reservations for other areas that offer guided walks are Mabira Mpanga forest and near Kampala, Sipi falls in Eastern Uganda on Lake Mburo national park you can take a safari walking with an armed ranger.
7 units of wildlife: there are four national parks that offer the opportunity for wildlife; Murchison Falls, Queen Elizabeth, Kidepo Valley and Lake Mburo. The largest variety of wildlife is to be seen on a drive through Queen Elizabeth, who has the largest number of species of any Park in Uganda. However Murchison falls North Nile offers large mammals in greater concentration and quick recovery unseen populations of giraffes in Queen Elizabeth. In Kidepo much wildlife is found within walking distance of Apoka camp. Lake Mburo is famous for zebras that you see as you drive to the Park.
8. mountain climbing: the two key opportunities for mountain climbing, Uganda safaris are the Rwenzori Mountains and Mount Elgon. The Rwenzoris present one of the most challenging mountain experiences in Africa and offer the opportunity for the real climbing if you try one of the peaks. However, Mount Elgon is an option more accessible to the casual hiker. It is also possible to climb the three volcanoes at bordered by Mgahinga Gorilla national park-Mt Sabinyo Muhavura, Mt and Mt bordered by Mgahinga. The views towards Rwanda and Democratic Republic of the Congo are spectacular.
9 Launch travel: there are three famous launch trips on offer in Uganda; the trip up the River Nile to Murchison falls, the cruise along Lake Mburo and cruise along the Kazinga channel in Queen Elizabeth National Park. All these trips offer the chance to see hundreds of hippos, buffalos and often some elephants. Although often is more common to see predators such as lions and leopards along the banks of the Kazinga channel, Murchison falls trip is ultimately the most spectacular-the falls themselves are fantastic and there is a reasonable chance that birders will tarnish the Stork fungus beetles indescribable.
10. sport fishing: The Victoria Nile is a favored habitat of a massive Nile, some with more than 100 kg. Sport fishing permits are available at Murchison falls national park. It can also be done on Lake Victoria.
