Menorca-your next vacation paradise?

An annual holiday is a great time. The idea of "getting it wrong" may be too terrible to contemplate, asking "why villas Menorca?" can be fully understood. But this question is surprisingly easy-Read and see why.

Menorca, like an island

Menorca is one of the Balearic Islands, although it is considerably less well-known than Ibiza or Majorca (Mallorca). Different people say different things about when tourism on this island began, but certainly by the early 1960s visitors from the United Kingdom had begun to appreciate the unique Charms. The tourist development began in the same way and at the same time, as the eldest sister islands, however, in the case of Menorca, something different happened.

The island has worked hard since the earliest days to try and ensure that a culture is preserved, rather than assign Balearic himself entirely for developers. Of course, there are developments on the island, but also some sophisticated resorts, but they have not destroyed many of Menorca and retains the charm of the original.

Main locations and Villas Menorca

This is a relatively small island and it is easy to get from one part to another-although car rental may be necessary in some sites. The capital city of Rakon is a charming city with a variety of quaint streets, alleyways and squares to explore. You will be able to see some old British architectural influences, such as the island was under British rule.

The importance of the island of the British Empire of the time shows when you look at the harbour-one of the finest deep-water ports in the world crustaceans (and now the location of some great cafes, bars and restaurants, etc.!). It is also making your way, if necessary, to visit the Ancient capital of the island of Thioytantegia-where you will be able to see some impressive sights (try the Cathedral and the Observatory Tower) and sample the seafood cuisine, for which it is famous.

Of course, there are many other things to get around this island, including some still inhabited cave dwellings.

Where to stay

For villas for rent Menorca, tend to be located on the outskirts of cities/resorts and city centres (another good reason for car hire). A good example is the resort of Son Bou. Set just behind arguably the best beach in Menorca, this is a quiet and relatively up-market resort, focused on providing for families and a little more mature tourists.

Just behind the beach, the ground rises in some hills, which sets out the villas to suit all tastes and budgets. Many of them have wonderful views over the resort and the sea, which gives you the opportunity to have the kind of holiday you want instead of what a hotel may try to shape your direction.

Menorca holiday villas and Villa let you experience the real life and culture of this great Mediterranean holiday destination.
